Office of Education Abroad
The Office of Education Abroad supports students and faculty on their journey to global destinations. We provide numerous opportunities to study abroad and experience the world through 60+ faculty-led programs, international student exchanges, or third party providers. All internationally traveling students must complete the pre-departure registration and orientation through the Office of Eduation Abroad prior to departure.
English Language Institute
At ELI, the goal is to provide quality English language instruction to all individuals who have chosen English as their medium of communication for academic or professional pursuits and to promote international and intercultural understanding. The ELI offers language training and a comprehensive introduction to American and university life.
International Student & Scholar Services
The mission of the Office of International Student and Scholar Services is to provide guidance related to immigration compliance and procedures and support our international visiting students and scholars as they pursue their academic and professional goals at FIU.
Office of Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)
FIU COIL supports students and faculty engaging in technology-enabled collaborative teaching, learning, research, and innovation with diverse partners worldwide. FIU COIL also offers multi-lingual training to support the growing global network of institutions engaging in COIL virtual exchange.
