FIU Global is the university's central office coordinating short-term, exploratory visits of international guests and delegations.
As our middle name conveys, international is who and what we are. We seek the open dialogue with education leaders across the globe. International guests and delegations to FIU campuses allow for the interpersonal exchange and deeper exploration of innovative approaches which are critical to the formation of strategic global partnerships. As such, we support our academic and business units in welcoming guests from across the globe in conducting productive visits.
Guests and delegations that need an interpreter are asked to make arrangements to bring their own and include information on the interpreter on the list of delegates. We expect formal requests to be submitted 10 business days in advance of a visit. Visits with less than 10 business days lead time may not be accommodated.
