The Office of Global Learning Initiatives’ (OGLI) mission is to prepare students to be successful global citizens with global awareness, a global perspective, and a passion to make the world a better place.
Global Learning courses

Global Learning Medallion
The Global Learning Medallion is an interactive, participatory program consisting of an extensive series of courses and activities designed to enhance your global awareness, global perspective, and attitude of global engagement.
Peace Corps Prep
Students will gain skills and experiences that make them competitive applicants for the Peace Corps and other international development programs.

FIU is proud to provide complimentary access to The New York Times to students, faculty and staff. The Tuesday Times Roundtable (TTR) is FIU’s weekly series of moderated conversations on The New York Times articles from the multiple viewpoints of students, faculty and staff.
