Santiago Garcia Martin is an Assistant Planner for the Long-Range Planning Division at Placer County. A graduate of UC Davis with a B.S. in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning and a minor in Managerial Economics, Santiago is dedicated to creating sustainable, inclusive, and resilient communities by balancing growth with conservation, enhancing quality of life, and ensuring equitable opportunities for all residents. Santiago is currently working on key projects like the General Plan Update, where he and his team strive to foster collaboration, leverage data-driven insights, and promote long-term solutions that shape the future of the region.
