They are responsible for all operations at the Center and are located in Genoa full-time. They are dedicated to serving FIU students and faculty during their time in Genoa, and help facilitate and build partnerships there such as with University of Genoa.
Rachel has been in International Education for her entire career. After earning her Bachelor's degree in French and English from Belmont University, she began teaching in France and Italy. Returning to the States after 8 years in Europe, she then served as Assistant and Associate Director of International Enrollment at Lipscomb University. There she earned her two Master's degrees, an MBA and an MA in Conflict Management. While in this role, her responsibilities expanded beyond admissions, working with Study Abroad programs there and implementing a study abroad program in Florence.
