Biography

Lydia K. Mallah is a first-generation Ph.D. candidate from Liberia, studying Teaching and Learning, with specialization in Special Education at Florida International University (FIU). She serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Teaching and Learning and is a recipient of the prestigious Doctoral Evidence Acquisition (DEA) Fellowship to support her dissertation research.

Beyond her academic work, Lydia is the Student Vice President of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society at FIU and a member of its National Student Council. She is also the Founder and CEO of RIEHAD-Liberia INC., a nonprofit dedicated to advancing education, healthcare, food security, and human rights for women, children, and individuals with disabilities in Liberia.
