Gabriela Méndez

Biography

Gabriela Méndez is Assistant Director of Florida International University’s Office of Collaborative Online International Learning (FIU COIL). She holds a Master’s in Information Technology Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey and has worked in different aspects of online education such as course design, technology implementation, and teaching both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. 

Since 2017 her work focuses on serving faculty and administrators participating in international virtual exchanges, she designs and facilitates training and partnering events, and provides implementation guidance. She has presented and facilitated workshops at different international conferences.

She currently is also a part-time professor teaching Global and Comparative Education for the School of Education at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico.
