The FIU COIL Call for Participation is open to all faculty teaching FIU courses across the undergraduate and graduate curriculum. This call is open to:
- New faculty who want to implement COIL for the first time
- Returning faculty who want to COIL with a new or existing partner

COIL will:

Call for Returning COIL Faculty
Returning COIL faculty should submit their plans to COIL in fall 2024 through this Call for Participation. Returning faculty plans allow FIU COIL to:
- Add COIL to the online catalog: COIL will be advertised in the course's Class Notes section and students can search for courses by the COIL course attribute.
- Support COILmatchmaking: Advanced notice allows more time to find potential partners.

Call for New COIL Faculty
FIU COIL welcomes new faculty who want to implement COIL for the first time during fall 2024! To respond to the call, please complete the following:
- Video introduction: To facilitate the search for potential partners, prepare a 3- to 5-minute video introducing yourself, why you want to COIL, and a brief description of your proposed COIL topic.
- Written application: Submit through the response form.
