Biography
I have been coiling in my Business Chinese and Intermediate Chinese Conversation courses since 2018. My partner school is Zhejiang Gongshang University in Hangzhou, China. For the Intermediate Chinese Conversation course there is an additional Service Learning component where American students have to teach three lessons to their Chinese counterparts on Miami. My students really enjoy exchanging with young people their age on the other side of the globe and they learn to appreciate what they have here in the U.S. They also realize as global citizens they actually have more commonalities than differences. These are reflected in their final video project documenting their meetings and exchanges throughout the semester.
