Biography

Luciana Kube was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and also lived in Spain from 2000 to 2016. She finished her Ph.D. in Spanish Language and Literature at FIU, where she obtained her Master in Arts in Spanish. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Communication at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB) in Caracas, and also pursued her Master’s in Business Communication in Barcelona, Spain, at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). Luciana worked at FIU from 2017 to 2022 as an instructor, as part of her responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant, having the experience to teach Spanish Business both to FIU and UNAH (Universidad Nacional de Honduras) students during a Collaborative Online COIL initiative that took place in 2021. Luciana was a guest speaker for several CIBER K-12 Language for Business conferences. She also has experience as an editor and developing projects for the music industry for more than 20 years with an emphasis on Spain and Latin America.
