Bio

Galia is the Director of Sustainability at the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (USIL) in Peru managing the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals through the faculties curricula, implementing USIL´s sustainability policy at the university governance level and promoting it among the students, professors and administrative staff, volunteer programs and social living labs in urban and rural areas of Peru. She has been a guest lecturer of several undergraduate and post graduate programs. She is part of the Sustainable Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) in Perú. Prior to USIL, she worked for different Peruvian companies in social responsibility programs and community engagement projects for rural communities around Perú, in the health, entrepreneurship, energy and aeronautic sectors.

She is a PhD candidate in Strategic Management at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and her research is related to management dynamic capabilities, leadership, and university social responsibility. Galia holds an MA in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Nottingham - Business School in UK and a bachelor’s degree in communication from the Universidad de Lima in Peru.
